I like model making...investigation of form and function through random and meaningful experimentation. Below are a few examples of some model making during my final project.

Geometry
Aranda\Lasch - Grotto and Rules of Six
Always some of my favourite pieces and designers.
Using computing tooling/scripting it is possible to design and create anything. Fixation with natural properties and their combinations with one another on a micro>macro scale.
Aranda and Lasch are dedicated to experimental research and innovative building to create the impossible! Using the latest technology and complex mathematical equations to transform a 2D drawing into a 3D accessible and interactive piece of design.
These guys were major inspiration to my final year project...work of my own will be uploaded some time soon..
Narnia
It has been a while since I graduated and I admit I have got stuck into a mundane lifestyle, where I am just working to survive and earn some money to pay off my years of studying. However I have finally had enough and want to do what my heart and mind has always set out and driven me to do.
A recent trip to Norway refreshed my mind and made me realize how much there is out there that I want to explore and look into. Feeling so small and insignificant against the towering mountains and fjords, being surrounded by natural occurrences, where living organisms including humans can adapt and strive in severe landscapes and weather conditions. My ideas and imagination has always originated from the fascination of scales from micro organisms to macro scales of the natural and man-made environments, how things evolve and how every organism that exists within them work together. Organisms, including humans, that invade every space of the earths surface, each become ants in the vast landscapes. Where everything strives off one another in the fight for survival, with the hope of living a healthy and prosperous life.
Here are a few shots from my travels in Norway. I was surprised why so many Norwegians asked me what I was doing in Norway and why I wanted to visit the country so much! To me it was like being in a serial world such as Narnia...one which I soon had to step back out of and back into the real world. Breathtaking landscape and beauty around every corner.
