Quelat - Hanging Glacier - Chile. A two hour trek up through an untouched temperate forest to reach this unusual hanging glacier. Suspended in the air as if time had frozen over. The pale shimmering blue ice seeping into every crack possible in the rock trying to reach the lake below. Plants and flowers clung and wrapped themselves to and around every branch and space possible along the walk, giant leaves an elephant would even struggle to eat.
